Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
1. I'm double jointed and can do super creepy things with my fingers that tend to gross people out. Fun times. I can literally bend my fingers backwards and people get so grossed out by it, it's hilarious. My elbows and knees are also able to bend opposite of what they should, but not as extreme as my fingers.
2. My first car was a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It was a giant piece of crap and I got totally ripped off when I bought it, but there were a lot of good memories from that car. I was the first of my group of friends to get my drivers license, so my car was the gateway to freedom for all of us I guess! The struts were so bad on the car that when I hit a bump it looked like it had hydraulics. It was pretty bad.
3. Ranch dressing is my favorite food. Hidden Valley Ranch to be exact. I dip everything in Ranch, from veggies to pizza, fries and I even add it to pasta or mashed potatoes sometimes. Most of my meals aren't complete without Ranch!
4. I'm a TV addict. Seriously, I watch so much TV I think I need some sort of intervention. Let's make a list of shows that I watch, shall we? (I'll go by day of the week to make this easier on myself....) CSI: Miami, House, How I Met Your Mother, Rules of Engagement, Two and Half Men, Gossip Girl, Secret Life of the American Teenager, NCIS, Pretty Little Liars, Criminal Minds, Bones, CSI, CSI: New York. Then also throw in Teen Mom once in a while and I'm probably forgetting to list some others. I'm trying not to add any new shows as these finish up. Trying being the key word there. Thank goodness for DVR.
5. I'm horrible at math. REALLY horrible, actually. Numbers and I just don't get along, never have. I'm just lucky I can balance my checkbook. Thank God Jamie is good at it, otherwise our future children would be screwed! He can help them with math and history, I'll do the rest.
6. I had an obsession with Goosebumps books. I owned the entire series when I was in elementary school - I had probably over 100 books. I used to sit on the basement steps and read them out loud to my sister while she was painting wood crafts to sell. She probably knows the stories as good as I do! I'm proud to say that my oldest nephew (he's 10) now also loves the books -- I don't know if my sister is too happy about it though!
7. My first computer was a Gateway. Do they still make those? Anyone remember the cow print boxes? I think we got it in... 1997 maybe? It's amazing how far technology has come since then, that computer was a beast.
8. I lost my first tooth to a couch. I was messing around with my Grandpa and jumped on the couch. My front left tooth had been loose for a while, and when I jumped I hit my tooth on the arm of the couch. The tooth disappeared into the couch never to be seen again. I cried so hard because I thought the tooth fairy wouldn't visit because I couldn't find my tooth. But guess what? The tooth fairy came anyway... but only left half of what I got for every other tooth... haha....very funny tooth fairy. You owe me 50cents.
9. I love to color code things. I think I may be slightly OCD. Everything at home, work and everywhere in between is color coded. My clothes are even hung/folded according to color (and shirts by sleeve-length, but that's another story). It all started back it grade school when I matched my folder and notebook colors. If I see someones files and they aren't color coded, I just was to reorganize their stuff.
