Book Review: "Untamed"

Book 4 in the House of Night series

Zoey has suddenly become an outcast. In the aftermath of what happened at the end of "Chosen", her friends have cast her aside and no longer trust her and all the men in her life either hate her or are dead. Zoey has no one to turn to, but her sworn enemy helps her to realize that she needs her friends now more than ever.

With the murders that happened, Neferet has declared war against humans. A vision predicts that this will end badly for all involved, so Zoey and her friends must do all they can to stop it. Shekinah, High Priestess of all vamps, decides to stop for a visit. She believes in Zoey and calls off the war, but Neferet is doing all she can to change both of those things.

With the help of her Grandma, Zoey and her friends decifer a prophecy of the horrible things to come. When another dead fledgling becomes undead in front of everyone at a ritual, there is hope that Neferet will be exposed for what she really is.

Using the affinities they have been given, Zoey, her friends, her ex-boyfriend (Erik), a warrior and the red fledglings escape away from the House of Night. They're on their own now and on the run. Will they be able to pull together and survive?

Would I recommend this book?
Yep! The series keeps offering more twists and turns to keep it interesting.

I just read something yesterday saying that this series is set to be 12 (!!!!) books by the time all is said and done. Holy crap. There are 8 available right now and the 9th is set to come out this coming November. That's a lot of books. As of right now, I plan to follow the series until the end.

Next up is book 5: "Hunted"
