Fun for All

#77: Take my nieces and nephews somewhere fun

Last Monday, I took 2 of my nephews and my 2 nieces out for a day of crazy fun.

We started out by going to lunch at The Machine Shed, where everything is very rustic looking with old tractor and farm toys everywhere. The kids really loved it - especially when they saw that their kids meals were served in tractor wagons!

After lunch we headed to a place called Funset Boulevard. This place keeps kids occupied for hours on end. It's pure craziness, thankfully they weren't that busy when we were there. Funset has bumper cars, a carousel, laser tag, mini golf, batting cages, a huge play area, mini bowling and a massive arcade.

I had to laugh at my oldest nephew on the carousel, because while he's only 10 years old, he's already 5'4'' and growing by the day. He could practically touch the floor when the horse was all the way up in the air.. haha

You couldn't pry this one away from the video games.....

Ahhh, then there were the bumper cars.... the two girls weren't quite tall enough to be able to reach the controls, but that didn't stop them! They made it work though and it was hilarious! I couldn't resist taking a little video of them - I'll post that later because blogger is giving me issues.

Overall it was a great day. No one got lost, cried or got hurt. So it was a win for everyone! Now I have to think of something new to do for them next summer.
