I can't lie and say I loved this book, because I really didn't.
It had a really slow start and I didn't get into it until about halfway through. While it's well written, the style of writing just wasn't up my alley. Not getting into the book until the halfway point doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy the first half. Young Kate, in my eyes, was much more entertaining than middle aged Kate.
While I wouldn't personally recommend this book, I could see it being read in a book club or something. It would be a good discussion book. When reading it on your own I think there are a lot of points that could easily be missed.
