23 Weeks!
How far along: 23 Weeks 2 Days
Total weight gain: If the scale at the gym is accurate (which I'm doubting) I'm at +3 overall now. So I'm finally heading in the right direction.
How big is baby?: The size of a papaya - 13 inches, over 1 pound.
Maternity clothes?: Most of my regular clothes still fit, so I wear a little of both.
Stretch marks?: None.
Symptoms?: Nothing really this week.
Sleep?: My hips get sore when I sleep on one side too long, so I wake up constantly to re-adjust.
Best moment this week?: I saw a few kicks from the outside! It was very cool. Alien-esque, but cool :) Little guy is getting stronger!
Worst moment this week?: My week was pretty good.
Movement?: Lots! Although he seems to have been kind of lazy for the last couple days. I think he's making up for it this morning!
Food cravings?: I REALLY want an egg, ham & cheese breakfast sandwich. But I want to make it myself. No can do until the stove is back in the kitchen. What's weird about this craving is that I normally hate eggs.
Labor signs?: Nope.
Belly button in or out?: Still in.
What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.
What I'm nervous about: Starting my new Fall class next week. My upcoming Glucose test.
What I am looking forward to: Getting started on the nursery and all the projects that go along with it.
Milestone: Seeing kicks/punches from the outside and getting our baby registry done. I also got my first "stranger comment"! The lady at the Joann's cutting counter asked me how far along I was, so it must be starting to look more obvious.
Excuse to crappy pic this week, I REALLY need a haircut...

I can't believe you've only gained 3 lbs so far! I was already up like 20 pounds by 23 weeks! LOL. You look great!
Don't be nervous about the glucose test...it's nothing. I didn't think the orange drink tasted bad at all. It was easy peasy to get it down!
I lost a lot at the beginning due to m/s, so I'm happy to finally be gaining something.
I'm just worried about the glucose test because I haven't been able to handle overly sweet things well. I can't even finish a dish of ice cream - sad!!
Aww noooo:( I didn't really like sweets early on...like before my second tri. Then I started loving them again (as usual). GL! I'm sure you'll do fine:)
You look AMAZING! Love the papaya pic. It really gives someone a better idea of how big baby is now!
BTW...check out my blog. I recognized your blog with a special award! :-)
Thanks Val!
