Slowly but surely, our kitchen is coming together. I shouldn't be too much longer now!
The flooring is where we ran into some trouble. The flooring was special order, and it took about a month to arrive. Jamie went to install it over the weekend and noticed that the boxes must have been dropped or something during shipping, because 4 out of the 6 boxes were unusable. Which blows.
SO. He called Lowe's and told them what was going on. They said they only way to fix the issue was to return the damaged flooring for a refund and re-order. What a pain in the ass.
Fingers crossed that the next shipment A: shows up a little faster and B: isn't damaged.
We shall see. What is installed looks really great though!
We have the countertops picked out, I'm guessing 2 to 3 weeks for those to arrive. We chose a Corinthian Solid Surface counter in an off white color. Other than that, the big thing is moulding. But that can't be done until we get the flooring.

Your kitchen looks like it's going to be beautiful. I love the color scheme. So original. We had a professional install our flooring so I can't really relate to the Lowes issues. Such a drag that you have to wait. I have to ask - what kind of floor is it. Is it tile? Or laminate? Either way, it looks great. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Thank you! The flooring is Laminate plank flooring made to look like tile.
Good news is that our replacement tile made it to us on Friday, so it's here and should be installed soon!
